Arktos MEDIA GmbH has been in operation since the beginning of the year 2000. We offer software development, databases, data compression and the production of subscriber directories, for example the original "Telefonbuch für Deutschland" (Telephone Book for Germany) and the "Yellow pages" for TVG publishers and the telephone books and yellow pages for Herold-Verlag publishers in Austria.

About our Managing Director
Peter Hoffmann, economist, was born in 1955 and has three children. After an apprenticeship as a banker, he studied economics and law in Mannheim and Hagen and also information technology. Before founding Arktos, he had different managerial positions with major companies in the service industries.
In addition, a degree in educational science and many years of experience as a trainer provided a sound basis for his specialist skills as a training/seminar leader.

In 1992, he became a publicly appointed and sworn expert for personnel computer systems used for information processing in the commercial and administrative sector.

In addition to his work for the company and as an expert advisor, he is also an examiner for the subject of data processing in business and commercial information technology at the Rhine-Neckar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also acts in an advisory capacity for R. Oldenbourg publishers in Munich for their information technology range of publications.
